As seen on both the Discovery Channel and the Outdoor Channel, join Captain Mike and his black lab Scout for an iguana hunting adventure like no other! This trip is for up to 5 people max, and includes all equipment and three hours of non-stop adventure. On the day of your iguana hunt, you will meet your guide at the boat ramp with your party. He will go over important safety rules and relevant gun and firearm information, before quickly getting started on the iguana hunt. You will travel down a canal system which is loaded with invasive iguanas that burrow in the banks and sprawl in the trees. You and your guide will hunt down these iguanas, and stop these extremely invasive creatures from tearing up our ecosystem and eating and killing our endangered species, particularly the burrowing owl. Help Captain Mike and Scout save south Florida’s ecosystem, one canal dragon at a time! With each iguana kill, Scout the retriever dog will jump into action, swim across the canal, wrangle the iguana, and deliver it back to you. There are very few dogs like Scout in the world, and his presence makes this trip highly exciting and truly unique. This is your chance to check out Scout in action! We offer air gun or blow gun, bow and arrow, as well as rod and reel with noose hunting options. When talking to the caption, please let him know if you are interested in any specific method. This is a great adventure that will create memories for a lifetime. Very family friendly and extremely fun for all ages, with all gear provided. On our trips you can expect to bag anywhere from 5-25 iguanas, depending on the ability level of the shooter(s). Guaranteed shooting opportunities all trip long! Meat will be quartered and bagged upon request for free. And yes, they are delicious! (Please see our recipes page for cooking inspiration.) Notes: -Gratuity will be added to any groups of 4 people or above. -Groups of 5 will have limited space on the boat. -No children below the age of 4. -Children who attend the trip will need to supervised at all times by the adult(s) attending, especially when handling any weaponry. It is the responsibility of the parent to assure that all safety rules are followed. -It is extremely rare, but injury or illness could cause us to run the trip without Scout's help. Please be assured that your captain will become the expert retriever in this case and the hunt will go on without a hitch!
